An Industrial visit to Fiat Automobiles and Bajaj Automobiles(Pune) was arranged on the 19th September,2014. The objective of this industrial visit was to provide students with an opportunity wherein they would get an exposure to the working environment in the companies. They got to learn how the automated manufacturing units works, the robotic technology, the RIFD based sensors used behind the entire process.
A group of 104 students from B.Sc IT and 94 students from B.M.S,B.A.F, B.B.I along with faculty members were deployed for an educational trip to Banglore and Jaipur.The group visited CDAC, Cranes Software, and Marketone in Banglore, and visited Dainik Bhaskar, Bisleri, Jaipur Metro, Jaipur Jugs, Jaipur Dairy in Jaipur.Students also visited Lal Bagh Botanical garden and Amer fort, Hawa mahal Birla Planetarium as a part of sight seeing in the trip.The exposure to the industry, their manufacturing unit, work culture were the take aways for the students.
