VIT has given me the opportunity to learn lot of things. Most of the things were learnt while working in the industry, but the base to learn those things was already set because of VIT. I used to dislike the compulsory presentations that we need to deliver in each class, but those presentations made me comfortable to face large number of people while speaking. Telecom is not just working in telecommunication organization such as Reliance and Vodafone. It is really wide. It also includes working in IT Company and designing the software for telecommunication purpose. You can work in VLSI domain and design chips for devices. You can select software, wireless, networking, security and hardware domain. Just select your area of interest, and move forward in that direction. And main thing enjoy your college days.

VIT offered highly challenging but equally stimulating environment for me to help me develop my career. Thanks to the excellent faculty, my very first encounter with Microprocessor and Microcontroller courses invoked in me excitement and fascination for the field to such an extent that I ultimately decided to pursue Masters in ‘Computer Science’ from University of Southern California. To succeed in industry one should be good at basics and should be ready to come out of one’s comfort zone and accept challenge’s as it comes.
